THE HANSA at the EUSBSR Annual Forum

On invitation of the EUSBSR Policy Area Tourism and Culture Coordinators, Stefanie Bischof presented THE HANSA in the session « Routes that resonate » on 29 October at the EUSBSR Annual Forum in the Polish seaside resort Sopot. In addition to the Union of Cities THE HANSA, Liberation Route Europe, the Sauna Route, and the European Project Center at the University of Wismar were also represented.

The session explored how Cultural Routes turn local heritage into meaningful travel experiences, and how tourism grounded in culture not only builds identity but also fosters cooperation, visibility and resilience in the Baltic Sea Region.

The EUSBSR Annual Forum is one of the largest events on transnational cooperation in the Baltic Sea region. This year, the forum was held under the title “Securing the Future: Stronger Together – Building Stability in Times of Uncertainty.”
