Zutphen is taking part in the Dutch youthHansa for the first time this year and immediately got involved as the host of the meeting. The group was first welcomed by Zutphen alderman Rick Verschure. Then the treasurer Natasja Leoné, secretary Martine Soepenberg and chairman Pepijn Velthuis of the Dutch youthHansa Association gave a brief explanation of the youthHansa. Afterwards the participants went on a boat tour of Zutphen, which provided a great opportunity to get to know not only each other, but also the city better.

The annual introductory afternoon of the Dutch YouthHansa Association (De Nederlandse Jeugdhanze) took place on Wednesday 7 May 2025. Young people from eight different Hanseatic cities had the opportunity to get to know each other better in preparation for the International Hanseatic Days, which will take place in Visby this year.
