Young people from Hanseatic cities in several European countries are collaborating on a book, the individual stories of which are set during the Hanseatic era and relate to their respective home towns. Each story is written in the young people’s mother tongue. Translations can be accessed via a QR code. The result is a diverse, multilingual collection of stories centred on the theme of the Hansa.
The writing process is supported by creative workshops, reciprocal visits and regular online exchanges. Several volumes of the ‘Hanse Links’ series have now been published.
Schools and youth groups from the following Hanseatic cities are taking part in the project:

- Brunswick
- Bruges
