On Saturday 19 September, Stade will be celebrating its sixth annual Cabbage Day. Freshly harvested cabbage and other vegetables are transported by sea directly from the Dithmarschen
Cabbage Days to Stade. From 7.30 am to 1 pm, the produce will be sold from the deck of the ‘Frieda’. Something special this year: Cabbage Day will mark the start of the maritime harbour festival at the town harbour, which is open to the whole family and features a wide variety of performers and a diverse programme from 10 am to 4 pm.
