On the first weekend of Advent, the scent of mulled wine, waffles and winter spices will once again fill the air above the Schlossberg: Iburg Advent returns to the historic grounds of Iburg Castle! This year, the atmospheric Advent market is being held in cooperation with ‘Der Wildwechsel’ and the ‘Taverne zum fröhlichen Normannen’ and invites visitors of all ages to linger – admission is free!
Against the impressive backdrop of the former residence of the Prince-Bishops of Osnabrück, you can expect a lovingly designed mix of traditional crafts, hobby art, medieval flair and culinary delights – from Feuerzangenbowle to hearty game dishes. Get into the festive spirit and enjoy a special break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas.
A little tip: St. Nicholas will be visiting on Saturday to hand out gifts to the little visitors.
