DAY OF THE HANSA: museum festival at EHM

Join for the birthday celebrations of the European Hansemuseum!

On International Museum Day and Hanseatic Day, the EHM invites you to a colourful museum festival! For younger guests, there will be a big children's festival with crafts, games and lots to discover. Together with the Hansevolk zu Lübeck, anyone interested in history can travel back in time to the Middle Ages: for example, you can meet exciting personalities from the Hanseatic era at the speed dating event. A special highlight is the ‘Look behind the scenes of the Hanseatic Museum’: the entire team and the departments of the EHM introduce themselves and give an insight into the museum's work. Another item on the programme: the Citizen Science project of the Research Centre for the History of the Hanseatic League and the Baltic Sea Region (FGHO), where guests can become researchers themselves and actively contribute to science and history.

The museum festival takes place as part of the birthday weekend celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Hanseatic Museum.
