Exhibition marking the 500th birthday of the important cartographer of the Hanseatic era

This year marks the 500th anniversary (1525) of the birth of the cartographer Christian Sgrooten, who first mapped the Lower Rhine region in the 16th century. He worked, lived and died in Kalkar.

The exhibition is open from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is free.
