Aaltjesdagen is an annual, multi-day festival in Harderwijk, which has taken place every second weekend of June since 1983. The festival showcases what Harderwijk has to offer in terms of tourism, culture, history and entertainment and attracts around 50,000 visitors every year.
Speaking of truly authentic, the Aaltjesdagen in Harderwijk are a centuries-old tradition. During these days, Harderwijk is upside down, there is something to see or experience everywhere. Besides cosy stalls, food & drinks, as a true culture lover you can indulge yourself!
As the opening of the busy tourist season, there is something going on at almost every spot in town. Music, (water) sports, dancing, fairs, old crafts, botters. The programme surprises with all the necessary ingredients for a good time, suitable for every age. Aaltjesdagen is one of the biggest annual festivals in the Veluwe!
