Around fifty delegates from 24 Hanseatic cities met on 15-17 October in Neuss, Germany, at the autumn commission. The organizing team of the 42nd International Hanseatic Day presented the plans for this major Hanseatic event, which will take place in May next year in the city at the River Rhine.
In beautiful weather, the city center of Neuss was transformed on September 18 and 19 into a colorful market with many booths and open stores. The Hanseatic cities of Brilon, Lübeck, Salzwedel, Wesel, Kalkar, Emmerich and Stralsund participated in the event. The Hanseatic Festival thus provided a successful foretaste of the 42nd International Hanseatic Day, which will be held in Neuss from May 26-29, 2022.
The International MEDIA contest "HANSA – Link of Times" has been launched; the deadline for submission is 15 October 2021.
The town’s rich Hanseatic heritage was once again celebrated with the return of the King's Lynn Hanse Day on 11th September 2021. The event was a great opportunity to discover King's Lynn's medieval merchants and its trading links to the Hanseatic League!
