...the early bird catches the worm, because we have to arrive in Hanover by 11 a.m. at the latest! Almost 10,000 members of shooting clubs, folklore and carnival groups, companies and institutions traditionally gather in front of the New Town Hall on the first Sunday of the Schützenfest. We will be there and will join the HanseBierTreck in the longest marksmen's parade in the world.
Planned arrival before 11 a.m.
About the project
The HanseBierTreck brings people, culture and history together. On the historic trade route, cycling enthusiasts bring the export hit Einbecker beer to Lübeck on cargo bikes. Just like in the days of the medieval Hanseatic League, without any CO2 emissions. Along the way, the trek will stop off in several Hanseatic towns along the route, with a local event planned in each town. On July 6, the trek reaches its destination: Lübeck, the Queen of the Hanseatic League.
