Dear hanseatic friends!
Together with ten thousands of guests we celebrated and enjoyed the
27th International Hanse Convention from 10th – 13th of May 2007.
People from 15 different nations have celebrated, discussed,
chanted, danced and laughed together. Lippstadt’s citizens have
opened their homes and hearts; they have provided their beds and
shown an impressive engagement. The salary for this was unpayable.
Happiness, gratefulness and real friendship cross all boarders.
Europe was meeting in Lippstadt. The cultural groups, musicians and
singers, dancers and craftsmen, artists and economic, trade and
politic referents have been great hanseatic ambassadors who
vitalised and provided a wonderful flair in the whole city.
The jointly cooperation shaped an unforgettable milestone in the
history of our city and a party of friendship which we all will
remember with great pleasure.
We have been glad and proud to be host of the 27th International
Hanse Convention 2007 and it was a special pleasure to experience
the great hanseatic zest for life.
